那里确实一堆M$ funboys可信度较差
Quake III source code GPL'ed within a week 的新闻倒是很令人兴奋 NetApplications.com的统计数据并不能像W3School那样可靠 http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp 2005 IE 6 IE 5 Ffox Moz NN 7 O 8 O 7 能在Windows下用Fx的人有不少,但是要彻底放弃IE很难,都要归功于Only IE的网站,如果IE不采用故意扭曲W3C公开公用标准的策略,IE的地位很难守住。

yes, it dropped a little bit at w3schools.com
well, two points: 1. wait for FX 1.5 2. wait for IE7 which will not run on win2k and 98 I believe Fx 1.5 will push fx a little bit to around 12%, and not sure what IE 7 will do, all depends on IE's performance. Up to now, I didnt see promising improvment of ie7, especially when its running on win XP, really not that fancy. |

从上面提供的 Neowin discussion 看来,IE funs比较热情,而Fx funs比较冷静,而声称用Opera的也有

Firefox官方版这二个月以来的确没什么大的改进。
看看1.5的表现怎么样了,Deer Park到目前为止和1.0相比改动的确相当大。 |

nighttalker:yes, it dropped a little bit at w3schools.com Do you mean that existing FF users are switching back to IE6 just to wait for FF1.5 or IE7? That doesn't sound very reasonable. Unless those switched back were experiencing significant problem, they could simply keep using FF and waiting for the new releases. I believe Fx 1.5 will push fx a little bit to around 12%, and not sure what IE 7 will do, all depends on IE's performance. Up to now, I didnt see promising improvment of ie7, especially when its running on win XP, really not that fancy. I don't have your crystal ball but I do wish you're correct. No pressure from FF means no improvement to IE. How much IE7 would improve is mostly dependent on how far FF would go. |

abc@home: well, I just mean I will wait and see, i didnt require any other people do anything i would like them to do. I dont care how much ie7 will improve, pressure is not from a product, pressure need to be put by people who want ie to improve, if only saying something like "i want ie to improve but i dont want to do anything about it", then thats basically saying nothing. and since M$ is not thinking their users, i dont see why user should support it. I used gecko when it has 0.2% marketshare, and i used opera when it has 1.2% marketshare, for me, as long as my work can be done, there is no reason to go to ie. |
