FireFox 1.0问题请教

FireFox确实很酷，可是在浏览很多站点我都碰到这个问题：
在窗口最大化时浏览正常，但如果窗口一般化时，网页的图片和table会显示不正常。
不知道是我哪里没设置好呢，还是因为站点不兼容？
比方说下面两幅图，一张是Firefox的，一张是IE的：

Firefox里，头像图片超出了table栏，而且table中间的分隔线也由IE里的细线变成了粗条。
如果是要在哪里设置一下，请指教。

This is probably cause by how the vertical line was made
1. made by insert a table with blue background in a cell
2. made by CSS

if use method 1. there are great chance to make some mistakes and show incorrect in Gecko

下载的标准板，自己装了IEView和Image Zoom，浏览这样的网页也还是有问题。。。
