IBM and Red HatTeam to Accelerate Linux Adoption in Emerging Markets

Raleigh, N.C. and Armonk, NY- September 16, 2005 - Red Hat (NASDAQ: RHAT) and IBM today announced a global initiative to help accelerate the development and adoption of Linux-based solutions in emerging markets, such as China, India, Russia and Korea as well as in established markets worldwide.
