Why does this URL take you to xinhuanet.com? (updated)
If I click on the URL below in Firefox, it takes me to xinhuanet.com.
In IE, I get the expected "The page cannot be displayed" message. http://http This rule is ONLY applicable to firefox 1.5.0.x on windows. ============================= 2006.6.11 Now it takes me to "http://www.people.com.cn/" |

这个功能是google 的 im feeling lucky 只要输入的地址找不到firefox就会上google搜给你 这个也是我经常使用的功能...~~ |

而直接http://http跟楼主一样，也去新华网了 |

呵呵，好奇怪哦，点击后开始是无标题的空白网页，1秒钟左右就转到新华去了。

For my analyse , I think if you use windows & firefox 1.5.0.x the link "http://http" will redirect to the site of "xinhuanet.com" except you use BonEcho or run firefox on linux.
It's a strange phenomenon. |

我的到http://www.http.com/了，可能跟浏览器和ISP有关吧，正常的话应该是去http://www.http.com/（浏览器自动添加后缀）或者无法访问网页，去新华网的应该是ISP的问题吧
猜测，呵呵 |
