ff23是不是不能更改缓存路径了？

如题，尝试了about:config，死活不能更改，求解。

26是什么？最新的版本不是23吗？哪里能找到26？多谢。

以前笔记本的硬盘垃圾，非常慢，把缓存改在ramdisk里面速度快很多，现在换了个ssd，考虑到ssd的寿命，希望还是能把缓存放在ramdisk里面。

现在貌似opera和chrome都不好改，在用ie10，晕，以前不敢想象的。这么简单的功能ff为什么要限制呢？无解。

几乎可以确定用增加字符串的方法失效，台式机以及笔记本都试过。试试你的版本，谢谢。

3、查找 browser.cache.disk.parent_directory

4、如果没有找到 browser.cache.disk.parent_directory ， 则通过右键新建这个“字符串”

5、修改到你需要存放的位置，例如R:\TEMP

同样，修改Offline cache device：

about:config 里新建字符串 browser.cache.offline.parent_directory ，值为你想要改到的目录，例如d:\firefoxtemp。

我也一直有這個疑惑,怎麼改都沒用,就算拿以前的配置來用,用多幾次路徑就沒了....

找到原因了，不知道是不是ff的bug。当做如下设置：选项——隐私——历史——firefox将使用自定义历史设置-——在firefox关闭时清理历史记录，也就是当设置成关闭浏览器就自动清理记录的时候，缓存路径的更改将失效，在ff22以及23下面都是这样。操作系统是win7，最后设置的情况大致是这样，128M的ramdisk，ff23设置成缓存最大为100M指向ramdisk ,脱机缓存设置为笔记本上的MS DUO,取消浏览器关闭时清空缓存。谢谢各位。想问问，当缓存指向ramdisk的时候，如果ramdisk设置成关机就清除数据，那么该如何保存cookies？有高手知道吗？

多谢，我一直用的就是这种方法。居然清除历史记录能对缓存路径的更改有影响，真没想到。晕，希望ff尽快改进。

Restoring to a different location - advanced users
Windows:

Instead of the above, advanced users may prefer to do the following:

    Locate the backed up profile folder on your hard drive or backup medium (e.g. your USB-stick) and copy it to the hard drive. Any target location on your hard drive will do, but it is advised that you put it in the default profile location, as explained in the first paragraph.
    Open up profiles.ini in a text editor by double clicking on it. The file is located in the application data folder for Firefox:
        On Windows Vista, the path is C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.ini
        On Windows XP/2000, the path is C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.ini
    In profiles.ini, locate the entry for the profile you've just moved. Change the Path= line to the new location.
    Change the line with the text IsRelative=1 to IsRelative=0.
    Review the changes made and save profiles.ini.
    profiles.ini example: If your backed up profile folder is called 646a7374.default and was placed in C:\Users\David\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\, the profiles.ini file would look like this:
