To accomplish this, FileZilla 3 has been completely rewritten from scratch during the past three and a half years.

Notepad++ is a free generic source code editor (and Notepad replacement), which supports several programming languages, running under the MS Windows environment.  
 
Notepad++ v4.3 fixed bugs and added features (from v4.2.2) :
 
1. Fix the crash bug due to the corrupted configuration file (config.xml and session.xml).
2. Fix the crash bug while the shortcut command is absent in shortcut.xml.
3. Fix the file status auto-detection bug : a unwanted selection after a pop-up dialog.  
4. Enhance Styler Configurator : the visual effect is updated immediately while the setting is changing.
5. Add Global override feature (in Styler Configurator).
6. Fix the bold/italic/underline refresh problem in Stylers Configurator for Scintilla component.
7. Add hide lines feature (Menu : View->Hide lines).
8. Add new capacity (optional setting in Preferences dialog : Backup/Auto-completion tab) to trigger Auto-Completion(Function Completion or Word completion) automatically .

It's been a while, but we are still around and have decided that it's time to funnel our steady stream of daily changes into a release again.

One main source of improvements has, as always, been FFmpeg, which added support for several new video and audio codecs along with speedups and massive code cleanups.

MPlayer now supports Real RTSP authentication and the libnemesi streaming library as an alternative to live555. Also, many QuickTime over RTSP streams can now be played. There have been various improvements to TV streaming, Intel Mac support should be complete.

Support for VC-1 in MPEG-TS and MPEG-PS will make many HDTV streams work. Blu-ray or HD-DVD playback is not possible yet, but MPlayer can play the EVO files after they have been decrypted.

MPlayer now assumes square pixels as found on LCD panels. If the video on your monitor appears squished or stretched please use '-monitoraspect 4:3' to get back the previous behavior.

It is no longer necessary to patch the sources to get AMR audio support. Instead, download AMR libraries for Linux and install them as described on that page.

Note that this release will not compile on current (as of this writing) Cygwin versions due to a missing llrint implementation in Cygwin. You will have to wait for the next gcc upgrade in Cygwin or patch either Cygwin or MPlayer locally.

There is no need to download binary codec packages if you already have an older version.

Li Gong's Blog - Mozilla Manifesto Chinese Translation

A couple of month back Rachel Zhang of Sun Microsystems in China volunteered an initial translation of Mitchell’s Mozilla Manifesto and posted it on my blog. After planning this for quite some time, this week Rachel and I finally sat down for a few hours and together we went again and again over the original text and revised the translation substantially. We still feel that the result could be further enhanced but decided to put this version 0.2 out for now. We invite comment and feedback and will work on it again at a later time. I have enclosed the (Simplified) Chinese version below; and for ease of reference and propogation, I also enclosed a PDF file here that includes both the original English text and our translation (Mozilla Manifestor Chinese Translation v0.2 (2007.10.17)) Finally, rumor has it that Bob Chao in Taipei is going to produce a Traditional Chinese version. I will link to it as soon as it is available.

We’d like to kick start the development of openSUSE 11.0 by releasing the current state of Factory as an Alpha0 release. Since the release of 10.3, we checked in 2187 packages including fundamental package updates such as:

    * gcc 4.3.0
    * kernel 2.6.24-rc4
    * X.org 7.3
    * KDE 3.5.8
    * KDE 4.0 RC1
    * CUPS 1.3.4
    * gdb 6.7.1
    * Alsa 1.0.15
    * Gimp 2.4
    * Yast2 2.16

The change between 10.3 and Alpha0 is quite big, but it still works pretty nicely. So please join the openSUSE 11.0 development in downloading, testing and using Alpha0 or daily updated Factory distribution.

The most annoying bugs are as usual listed on Bugs:Most_Annoying_Bugs_11.0_dev

So far there are some glitches in the installation process, that are mostly harmless. But the new kernel in particular can cause some regressions we would love to hear about through bugzilla, as described on bugs.openSUSE.org.

Notepad++4.8发布，经过今天实际测试，其查找功能已经有极大提升，已能达到一般文本编译器的查找速度，在文件中查找功能也已经达到可用的程度，唯一的不足是进行这一查找时程序会出现不响应现象。

Pidgin现在还停留在2.3.1的版本上，实在让人着急呀。
