有 bug 是很正常的，微软出品的软件几时没有成千上万的 bugs + 几个“低级”bug

Summary

When creating a new profile (which even normal users do e.g. when their Firefox crashed) and selecting the 'choose folder' option, the folder treeview points to 'My Documents' and not to the proposed folder in the dialog before, %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\randomstring.profilename.

This is bad because
1. normally a treeview should point to the default option, which is e.g. the
case in the Firefox installer, 'choose folder' leads there to a folder treeview
where %programfiles%\Mozilla Firefox is selected which is the proposed default
folder.
2. pointing to 'My Documents' in the treeview could make some users select this
folder as their profilefolder, perhaps because people might think that 'My
Documents' is the designated folder for that or if they just pressed the button
and then don't care...
3. Actually selecting 'My Documents' could lead to very serious consequences,
see bug 270705 (which won't be fixed...).
In fact, until now i read about three people who lost their 'My Documents'
folder that way:

The profile manager is not designed for "simple home users", who should
normally never see it. Still INVALID (or WONTFIX).

那个反安装删除文件的bug是0.x时代的事情了，很快就已经修正了。原因是当时有一段时期(大概两周)的nightly版本的反安装功能不检查当前文件夹是否有其他内容，而是直接清空文件夹(开始的时候大家风行使用zip版本,而且没有清空安装文件夹和配置文件夹的习惯,因此fb反安装时强制清空文件夹，为的是new/old版本没有冲突)，因此如果你把fb装到program files的根目录(所有文件在program files根目录下,没有建立mozilla firefox这个文件夹),反安装时就会清空整个program files文件夹. 清空我的文档文件夹的bug从来没有听说过,以我的关注程度,这样的消息如果有我一定有印象,因此多半是假消息.

其他的bug,首先这些bug涵盖了所有操作系统,不是你可以全部碰到的.再者有些bug到底什么影响很难说.涉及到不兼容性的问题也都汇报bug,不见得是软件缺陷.

从他举的例子来看,这些问题可能都是2-3年之前的数据.

opera/ie是闭源的,有多少bug又有谁知道? 眼不见就觉得干净实在是掩耳盗铃.

说道BUG，Fx确实多，原因有二，
一是Fx是开源的，也就是说，凡是能看、想看fx源码的人都有可能发现fx的bug；
二是，要数fx的bug，应该先数数fx的总代码量，好比像发那种帖子的bug在中国人里没有壹千万，也有一百万。

呵呵，我不是因为FX而和别人吵架，而是觉得连FX程序都没见过的话，就去批评编程人员，这是不对的。我不是FX的拥护者，也不是反对者
