Test Pilot 项目将于 2019 年 1 月 22 日关闭
Test Pilot 是独立于 Firefox 更新进程的额外测试项目，主要是提供用户测试新扩展并收取反馈意见。诞生了很多好用的扩展，部分扩展毕业以后被 Firefox 采用，例如 Firefox 截图。
现在 Mozilla 官方宣布将于 2019 年1月22日前关闭 Test Pilot，所有仍在测试的项目都将转移到 AMO 上，Firefox Send 和 Lockbox 将作为独立产品继续开发。Test Pilot 上面现在提供的扩展届时将删除无法下载了。 Mozilla 也承诺今后会继续以其他方式提供 Test Pilot 这样的平台促进开发。 https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2019/01/15/evolving-firefoxs-culture-of-experimentation-a-thank-you-from-the-test-pilot-program/ |

现在部分原 Test Pilot 扩展可以从 AMO 里面搜索到了。例如 Firefox Notes，Email Tabs 等。
