Conkeror is a mozilla based web browser designed to be completely keyboard driven, no compromises. It also strives to behave as much like Emacs as possible. This means all the keybindings and to-die-for features of Emacs that can be imitated by a javascript/XUL web browser Just Work.

Features:
* Conkeror sports a near feature complete i-search just like emacs. It ignores the "point" which in most browsers is the selection or some magical, invisible point that doesn't move when you scroll. Conkeror always searches from the top of the visible portion of the document (or bottom in the case of a reverse i-search). Never be confused by broken browser searching again.
* It contains a numbered links feature much like Hit-a-Hint.
* It has emacs style bindings and prefix maps with universal argument support.
* It allows limited window splitting. So you can see two web pages side by side.
* All commands are accessible through M-x, like emacs.

* There is a .conkerorrc file you can use to add customizations.
* The GUI is as minimal as possible to give your focus, the web page, the most room.
* I have included many emacs style movement keystrokes. Surfing is like cruising through an emacs buffer. If there's something I'm missing, please post to the mailing list.
* You should never have to reach for your mouse. To make sure Conkeror remains pure, I do not own a mouse.

To run Conkeror, type:
firefox -chrome chrome://conkeror/content

Conkeror与Hit－a－Hint完全不是一个重量级的。两者目标也不一样，后者只是一个extension；
Conkeror应该算是一个XUL应用了，它的书签不像firefox那样放在bookmarks.html中，而是放在自己的xpi文件里，不支持firefox themes，支持firefox的用css定制页面显示。

因为那里都是汉化版，除非你可以找到另外一个收集大量汉化扩展的地方。

顺藤摸瓜，找到了这个hit-a-hint,感觉比较好用；

刚才试用了一下，找不到门道，只能reset了；

有没有类似的，通过数字来控制，但不改变整个FF界面的？能兼用鼠标的？

vital：试用了一下：
整个浏览器窗口固定大小640×480
没有任何菜单、工具条、书签，状态条显示本机时间和一组坐标（？）
窗口底下多了一个输入框，用来输入url，还有定位链接的数字
看不到任何扩展，自然也用不了任何扩展

后记：不巧不成书，我安装完这个扩展后不到半个钟头，小孩就跑过来，按坏我的鼠标，现在只好在这个扩展下回贴了:)回到原帖
