[求助]FEBE完整备份失去响应

选择自定义备份没有问题,选择完整备份就会一直停留在"备份进行中",把所有标签页关闭只留下一个空白页面也是如此,版本6.3.2

只是就FEBE的使用问题提问,什么直接打包备份就不要提了,以免偏离主题,谢谢

是不是你的数据太大了？我有一次就是，需要很长时间才能备份完。

我也有次情况，好像是ff 更新了3.6之后出现的

是有些扩展不标准的影响。

*** Try this first ***

    In about:config there is a preference called dom.max_chrome_script_run_time that controls how long Fx waits before giving the "Script is busy" message. The default value is 20 seconds. Try changing it to "60" to see if that will eliminate the problem.

    How to: Type about:config in the Firefox address bar. If you get a box that warns you about being careful, accept it to continue. Type (or paste) dom.max_chrome_script_run_time in the filter box. Double click the preference and change the value from 20 (usually) to 60. Close the tab. Perform a backup.

    If you still get the "Unresponsive script" warning, try this:

    Set the dom.max_chrome_script_run_time to 0 (zero). This essentially turns off the time limit. Perform a backup and time the number of seconds it takes. (If it takes more than five minutes or if the progress bar in the FEBE progress window starts moving again, abort the backup -- It's not working.) Set the dom.max_chrome_script_run_time to the number of seconds the backup took plus 10. For example, if the backup took 90 seconds, enter 100.



*** If that doesn't work ***

    Install FEBE6.3 Debug. This special debug version will create a log of the items it is zipping. Depending on where the error is occurring, the log will display either the last backed up item or the item currently being backed up.

    Please post the last item in the log. Maybe we can figure out a common denominator. It would also be helpful if you can figure out what the next item on the log would be. I'm not even sure this is possible, but by looking in your profile directory you might be able to find which entry comes after the last one in the log.



Fx 3.6 is supposed to be much faster than 3.5.7, but maybe some things (like nsIZipWriter - the XPCOM component FEBE uses) are actually taking longer than before.
