Tree Locked Down for Mozilla Firefox 1.5 Release Candidate 1

At 11:59pm Pacific Daylight Time (UTC -0700) on Sunday, the Mozilla development tree was locked down in preparation for the release of Mozilla Firefox 1.5 Release Candidate 1. This means that no more checkins will be accepted for inclusion in the first Firefox 1.5 release candidate, which is due to be made available on Friday.

Update: Asa Dotzler informs us that a few issues (mostly relating to security and the software update system) have been discovered and will have to be fixed before Firefox 1.5 Release Candidate 1 ships. Fixes for major bugs such as these are the only ones that are allowed to be checked in during a lockdown.
