试着翻译了一下，觉得不理想，虽然都能看懂
但是太专业了 比如link是指连接还是链路？bandwidth是指带宽还是频宽？serial是系列还是串口的？ 不懂这些，所以不敢妄译 |

Remember that a router is the default gateway and you cannot set a default gateway on a router. However, you can set what is called a Gateway of Last Resort, which means that if a packet is destined for a network that is not listed in the routing table, the router will forward the packet to the default route.

我觉得学网络要理解英文，按照英文的意思来，有好多地方顺着英文理解比中文强多了，不能硬翻译.

的确是cdooo说的这样，英文描述是比中文要精确方便，因为可以用从句无限拉长同时保持句子结构清晰，比较难译。翻译比理解要难的多。
