Scriptish is a fork of Greasemonkey the popular Firefox extension for running user scripts on Firefox. Greasemonkey had long supported Firefox 1.5 and it was only recently that it was decided to raise the minimum Firefox version supported to 3.0, but plenty of legacy code still exists, and it's gotten to the point where Greasemonkey needed a complete reorganization. But alas development for Greasemonkey is incredibly snail paced for bug fixes, let alone code base refactoring, or adding new features. This is why I decided to fork Greasemonkey and start something new.

Scriptish has everything Greasemonkey has, it also supports a few things Google Chrome user scripts have, it gives user scripts new power with new features, it's designed to work for Firefox 4.0 and take advantage of all that has to offer, the code is far more organized, it's a smaller download, and last but not least it's faster!

BTW：已用上了，非常好用。

难怪我的GM在4.0下，看不到Options。

用一下，就是用最新的 GreaseMonkey 0.9 开发版简化来的（只支持 Firefox 4.0），并修正了 GreaseMonkey 0.9 开发版的一些 bug。功能、界面和 GreaseMonkey 0.9 开发版完全一样（图标改了一下）。因为它改了 GM 0.9 的几个 bug，所以比 GM 0.9 略微好用一些。

这个版本貌似也没有提供编辑的功能？

用上了，不过原来的脚本没有了，要重新安装一次。

点击这个扩展的“选项”按钮，Firefox是要当掉的。其实所谓的选项，就是附加组件里面的“User Scripts”那个页面。一般的附加组件的选项按钮，本来是弹出一个选项对话框，但是这个扩展的选项，就是页面的内容，所以反而会造成Firefox当掉。

我在隔壁都跟贴说过了，作者不同，范围也不同，说“原”不好。

看了一下这个扩展的创建者（贡献者）名单以及GreaseMonkey的创建者（贡献者）名单，发现这两个扩展，除了创建者不一样，其它的贡献者都一样。所以说，这个扩展应该就是 GreaseMonkey 的一个分支，是由 Erik Vold 创建，以后主要由他负责更新，但是扩展的主要代码，应该还是和 GreaseMonkey 共用的。

那到底是那个好？如果只是GM0.9的BUG修复版的话，然不必要用这个了。
