Panorama/Tab Groups: Initial removal plans caused some (serious) bugs due to integration in the interface, and impact on the browser for inclusion should be low when not actually used (it's just Javascript and xhtml, pretty much, which doesn't add anything to the actual program code). As a result, the decision was made to include it in the final release, after all.

Firefox Sync: Initially, there was some confusion about whether the Mozilla Sync service allowed Pale Moon to use their (Weave based) servers. After some discussion with mozilla staff (thanks, Gerv!), a closer look at Mozilla's privacy policy regarding stored data, examination of the actual code (especially encryption, the data is stored encrypted and cannot be recovered by anyone but you), getting metrics through a poll on Sync use (a fairly large percentage of Pale Moon users actually uses Firefox Sync right now) and the lack of an add-on based option for version 4.0, the decision was made to include the Sync service as well. Impact, here, should also be minimal since the Sync "client" in the Firefox source is Javascript based, too, and will not influence anything when not used.

说的很对。就我个人而言，firefox4中我觉得做了很多多余的事情。PM的开发计划中，除了x64版本的开发对我而言意义不大，其他的feature很合我意。回到原帖

不这样的话也没法为Firefox5的那些ui改变铺路.
不过没关系了，有人愿意制作Firefox的CE版，证明它还是有吸引力的。

实际用了下，没感觉好太多，问题不一定是出在这几个功能上，还是静待Mozilla修正bug
